Veitastrond Gardsysteri

Veitastrond Gardsysteri produces goat's cheese according to the recipe of the great-grandfather, and as we have done for generations.

Today, it is run by Beate Flugheim Neset. She is the third generation to produce cheese for sale and took over in 2023. This year, the around 120 goats will be allowed to graze at Vårstølen.

Vesterhaugen Gårdsysteri

Vesterhaugen Gårdsysteri is a small farm that has been run organically for almost 30 years. We run a versatile farm with dairy cows, pigs, horses and chickens. All the milk from our four dairy cows of the old Norwegian breed STN is processed on the farm.

Voll Ysteri

Voll Ysteri became the first dairy in Norway to receive permission to produce unpasteurised cheese. The building itself is from 1901 and is the first cooperative dairy in Jæren. The lovely cheese, Jærosten, is made here.

YsteLyst Håndverskysteri

We are located in Vestre Gausdal, on a farm called Nordre Berg. We live here with a herd of 45 dairy goats plus young goats and male goats. The farm is run organically, which means that we do everything possible to ensure that the animals thrive, eat high quality food, and can live out their natural behaviour.

Ysteri Pultostkoppen

Ysteri Pultostskoppen

Ysteri Pultostkoppen was established in 2014. From the start, it was clear that pultost (traditional cheese) was the main product, that it should be handmade as much as possible, and that the soured skimmed milk should be heated on a wood-fired oven. We do not have our own cows, but luckily, we have been able to buy milk fresh from farms at Jevnaker.
