Siri Helen Winther, founder and owner of Winther Artisan Food & Restaurant, has a special love of cheese. Throughout her professional career, she has worked with Norwegian raw material producers, and in recent years she has been a judge for the World Cheese Awards.
Siri's grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother made cheese in the Lofoten district. We want to show and share this craftsmanship, knowledge and history. We have therefore built our city dairy at Aker Brygge in Oslo so that it is a completely open production that our guests can see both from the outside of the premises and on the inside.
Authentic, local and transparent. The products are based on on organic milk from local farms.
