Hol Ysteri Prestholt Goat cheese

Prestholt Geitost at Prestholt is located 1242 meters above sea level as one of the highest mountain farms in Norway, at the foot of Hallingskarvet, partly into Hallingskarvet National Park.

Håvardsrud Seterliv

Håvardsrud Seterliv brought back its farming business in 2005 after almost 50 years without farming or local milk processing. The mountain farm uses all of the milk from 10 cows from 20 June to 1 September, and the product is available for sale on the farm.

Langedrag Naturpark AS

Tuva and Hege Thorson were on a mountain farm at Liaset for four years from 1975. In 1979, the farm at Langedrag was completed and the goats came to Langedrag in the summer of 1979.

Veitastrond Gardsysteri

Veitastrond Gardsysteri produces goat's cheese according to the recipe of the great-grandfather, and as we have done for generations.

Today, it is run by Beate Flugheim Neset. She is the third generation to produce cheese for sale and took over in 2023. This year, the around 120 goats will be allowed to graze at Vårstølen.

Stordalen Gardsbruk

Winther Ysteri

Siri Helen Winther, founder and owner of Winther Artisan Food & Restaurant, has a special love of cheese. Throughout her professional career, she has worked with Norwegian raw material producers, and in recent years she has been a judge for the World Cheese Awards.

Tverås Gårdsmat

Tverås Søndre (Tverås South) is a farm located at the head of the Trondheim Fjord opposite the village of Malm in Trøndelag. The farm dates all the way back to the 1600s.

Jakobsplass

Jakobsplass is located 930 meters above sea level. High up and free, with a fantastic view. Because we didn't build a road here until 1982, it was natural to continue processing the milk at home.

Stavanger Ysteri

Stavanger Ysteri is located in an old packaging factory in Stavanger East. This district was once the heart of the local fishing and canned food industry. It is a combination of traditional craftsmanship, theory and research that has made Stavanger Ysteri a pioneer in a growing movement of small organic producers.

Kråkerøe-staulen og Flatdal meieri

Kråkeroe-staulen is located 900 meters above sea level at Møsstrond in the north of Seljord municipality. The mountain farm has a particularly nice location between the lakes Veisvik-vatnet and Kråkerøe-tjønni.
