Brimi Sæter

Brimi sæter is located on the outskirts of the Jotunheimen national park in Lom with continuous farming for hundreds of years. We refine almost all the farm’s milk into traditional products with a long history, which we learned from the old milkmaid Embjørg, who is now over 90 years old. She has been a milkmaid for over 60 summers. Parts of our cow herd are old Norwegian cow breeds. In addition, we have 40 outdoor pigs at the farm, who eat nutritious whey from the cheese production.

Brimi Sæter is open to guests during the summer season. There, you can experience the traditional farm life with milking, cheese making, grazing animals and taste real farm food. We have accommodation in old farmhouses, a farm shop and farm café, and every evening we serve a 4-course "Skråpå tå" meal at the long table in the barn. A food experience with a focus on melted cheese and good stories.
