Fonte Verdi - Ysteri og Fruktpresseri was established in 2010 by Ton Hazes from the Netherlands. It started as a juice factory. When Ton emigrated to Molde in 2000, he discovered that private gardens had large quantities of fruit that were (almost) never used and went to waste. He collected fruit from friends' gardens and made fruit juice in his boathouse.

In 2018, Ton received a grant from Molde municipality to be able to buy a modern cheese vat, and in 2019 "Ost fra Molde" - well-aged won Silver during the NM in Cheese.

It is a bit unique to have a dairy right in the centre of Molde, and it is rare that Gouda cheeses are made from unpasteurised milk. The organic milk is collected from Ragnhild and Hans Erik Wold at Lyngstad.
