Flavour: Classic well-matured Farmhouse Cheddar with a slight bitterness, good acidity and a long aftertaste.
Description: Fresh and mild cheddar made from milk from our own Jersey cows. This cheddar is very special, in fact it is the only one of its kind in Norway, and it is made in the hotel's old swimming pool. The cheddar is best enjoyed in greedy chunks with an aperitif, but also adds a lovely flavour in a gratin or grated over pasta. The cheese recently received a bronze medal at the Norwegian Farm Cheese Championships, and has received the Speciality label for unique taste from Matmerk.
