Description: Stavsfjell kvit geitost is made from day-fresh morning milk that has been pasteurised. Stavsfjell is great to slice with a cheese slicer or knife and put on a slice of bread. It is also suitable for pizza, or you can fry it for dinner together with bacon. This combination is an old dish from Vinje and Åmotsdal. Stavsfjell has been tested with the help of two cheese makers in Norway, tasted and salted so that it resembles the cheese we had earlier in Vinje, a tradition that had disappeared. The cheese must be stored and is sold between two months and one year of age
