Flavour: Mild and flavourful cheese that reflects the Jæren sea and Norway's largest lowland area.
Description: The cheese, with added Geotrichum candidum mould and white mould culture, is washed during maturation and then rolled in hand-picked kelp from Mong. Can be served warm together with good bread, cured meats and maybe asparagus and pickled red onions. Others use walnuts and honey. The cheese was awarded the Speciality Label during Grüne Woche in January 2023.
