Brunost fra Tørresvangen

An old traditional product. Is distinctive within the brown cheese world. No wax or added anything. Only pure goat's milk, boil for a long time. Wood-fired. Gets a round and extra caramelised taste. Long shelf life and can be frozen. Placed No. 2 under World Cheese in 2018, Bergen. A round and nice goat flavour. A caramel-like taste, with hints of salt and smoke. Melts in the mouth and the taste profile is rich.

Kvitost frå Skjerdal

White cheese from Skjerdal is a semi-hard cheese, made from fresh unpasteurized goat's milk.

We cheese after milking both morning and evening. The cheese is mixed with soap and pressed by hand in traditional, made cheese boxes (cheese forms) in various sizes from 1.5-3 kg. Traditionally, the cheese was unsalted and we still make a good portion of that type. In addition, we have a salty version and a version with added caraway.

Gubb

Gubb er ein fast gommevariant med søtleg smak av brunost, men også med bitar av ostestoff i seg. Enkelt sagt er det ei blanding av brunost og kvitost, kokt på heilmjølk. Produktet blir gjerne brukt som kaffemat, «biteti».
