Flavour: Mild and round taste, smooth texture.
Description: The cheese is inspired by French soft cheeses. The idea for “Mor Åse” ("Mother Åse") came to farmer and cheese maker Sigurd during a cheese course in France a few years ago. The name is partly inspired by Ibsen's play Peer Gynt, but is also named after Åse, manager at the farm dairy, who is a farmwoman at Avdem and married to Sigurd.
