Eiker Gårdsysteri

Eiker Gårdsysteri is in quite a central location, only an hour from Oslo towards Kongsberg. Only milk from own cows is used at this dairy, which in the beginning was run as a co-operative with 3 neighbouring farmers. In 2022, the business was sold to Ida and Even Tandberg, who also took over a significant part of the farm dairy. The management of the barn and dairy will mainly be run the same way as before, but new people provide new inspiration, so there will probably be a few changes over time.

In addition to award-winning cheeses, there is also a farm shop with local products to highlight the diversity in our district. Awards include two cheeses with the Speciality label for unique taste, countless medals in the Norwegian Farm Cheese Championships, winner of the competition Det Norske Måltid in 2021, Bronze, Silver and Gold in the World Cheese Awards for several of our cheeses. This is world-class cheese.
