Setane Gardsysteri

Setane is a farm on a steep hill in Nissedal in Telemark, which was cleared in 1801. A new goat barn and dairy were established in 2010. This year, we are expanding the dairy with a “Primbu” (“Prim shed”) and will start making Prim, a traditional soft cheese, this summer. We also produce white goat’s cheese.

Munkeby Ysteri

In 2009, four Cistercian monks established themselves near some monastery ruins in Levanger. There, they live a life characterized by prayer and work, "Ora et labora". They started a small-scale dairy where they made cheese using old recipes from the mother monastery of Cîteaux in France.

Litlvea Gård

At Litlvea Gård, we have a small-scale craft workshop where we make white cheese, salad cheese and fresh cheese according to traditional recipes.

Ysteri Pultostskoppen

Ysteri Pultostkoppen was established in 2014. From the start, it was clear that pultost (traditional cheese) was the main product, that it should be handmade as much as possible, and that the soured skimmed milk should be heated on a wood-fired oven. We do not have our own cows, but luckily, we have been able to buy milk fresh from farms at Jevnaker.

Gimstad Gård Ysteri

Gimstad Gård Ysteri has a cheese diary on the farm, where we produce the milk from our own cows. We make our own unpasteurised cheeses.

We make the following products: White cheese, brown cheese, butter, gomme, saup (buttermilk), raw milk.

Hindrum Gårdsysteri

Hindrum Gårdsysteri is a farm dairy in the village of Hindrem in Fosen. Hindrum Nedre gård (Lower Hindrum farm) has been involved in organic milk production since 2009, and the farm dairy has been in production since 2014.

Ystepikene

Here at Ystepikene, we run our own farm dairy at Varhaug in Jæren. Under magnificent skies by green fields, we produce cheese using milk from our own cows.

YsteLyst Håndverskysteri

We are located in Vestre Gausdal, on a farm called Nordre Berg. We live here with a herd of 45 dairy goats plus young goats and male goats. The farm is run organically, which means that we do everything possible to ensure that the animals thrive, eat high quality food, and can live out their natural behaviour.

Stordalen Gardsbruk

The farm Nedre Tollefsjord, a small farm in the mountains on the edge of Hardangervidda National Park, the principle of self-sufficiency was important. Sustainable production, harvesting from nature and the animals. Refining and using all raw materials, not just consuming them. Harmony.

Orkladal Ysteri

Orkladal ysteri is a farm cheese diary from Orkdal in Sør-Trøndelag. We produce soft washed-rind cheeses, hard matured cheeses with different degrees of maturation, blue cheeses, caraway cheese and frying cheese. We tell a story by having historical names for our cheeses.
