At Myrdal Gård, on the beautiful island of Tysnes south of Bergen, we run our farm and make cheese with a passion for Norwegian nature and traditional knowledge from our home country, the Netherlands. We make different types of cheese with and without seasoning using milk from our own goats and milk we have bought from Western Norway. We work with honest recipes to develop intense flavours in cheeses with a delicious texture.
We produce (young and well-matured) white goat’s cheese with truffle, white goat’s cheese with wild garlic, white goat’s cheese with seaweed, fresh goat’s cheese, cow's milk cheese: wild garlic cheese, honey clover cheese, pepper cheese, Italian herb cheese and mountain cheese.
