Kråkerøe-staulen og Flatdal meieri

Kråkeroe-staulen is located 900 meters above sea level at Møsstrond in the north of Seljord municipality. The mountain farm has a particularly nice location between the lakes Veisvik-vatnet and Kråkerøe-tjønni.

From the milk, we produce butter, soured cream and knåost (traditional cheese). We get left-over products in the form of buttermilk and cheese curds, which are great products to use in baking. Butter, soured cream and knåost are sold here on the mountain farm. We serve simple farm food. The soured cream porridge here is particularly tasty, made with our homemade soured cream.
