TINE Norsk Edamer

TINE Norsk Edamer is a Norwegian-produced relative of the Dutch Edam cheese. The cheese has many features in common with Norvegia®, but it is usually a little firmer, a little saltier and a little more sour in taste.

Edamer is the Christmas cheese more than any other in Norway. It is very suitable as a topping, in salads, as a side dish and in warm cheese dishes. Edam is a cheese that is very well suited for storage and can be stored for at least six years. Feel free to put the cheese at the bottom of the fridge and leave it for a few years, it will only get better.

TINE Gräddost

TINE® Norsk Gräddost is a Norwegian-produced variant of similar cheese types in Sweden and Denmark. The name indicates that it is a cream cheese, and the cheese has a mild, rich taste.

TINE® Norsk Gräddost is quite soft in consistency and should be cut into thick slices with a knife. The cheese is considered a typical dessert cheese, which can, for example, be enjoyed together with grapes or other fresh fruit. TINE® Norsk Gräddost also tastes very good as a topping on a slice of bread.

Norvegia Vellagret

Norvegia® Vellagret with crust is cut from large cheese wheels. The cheese is stored for nine months on wooden shelves in our traditional cheese warehouses, and is turned regularly to achieve an even ripening. During storage, Norvegia® Vellagret develops a flavor that is more marked than the well-known taste of the original Norvegia®. The flavor comes out best if it is cut with a knife and combined with, for example, biscuits or freshly baked bread, and a delicious marmalade. Norvegia® Vellagret is also suitable as a flavor enhancer in both cold and hot dishes.
