Tverås Gårdsmat

Tverås Søndre (Tverås South) is a farm located at the head of the Trondheim Fjord opposite the village of Malm in Trøndelag. The farm dates all the way back to the 1600s. Old traditions such as cooking “gomme” (traditional cheese) have been preserved through generations. Around the farm is an ecosystem where cows and sheep graze and nurture a lush cultural landscape that is rich in wild plants. The production is organic, and everything is made from our own milk.

Our award-winning Vaniljeprim (vanilla prim, a traditional cheese) has a caramelized and rich flavour with an addition of real vanilla. Mors gomme brings back good childhood memories. Everything is made from our own organic milk production at the family farm Tverås Søndre. Here we preserve old traditions and bring them into the future.
