Norvegia® Vellagret with crust is cut from large cheese wheels. The cheese is stored for nine months on wooden shelves in our traditional cheese warehouses, and is turned regularly to achieve an even ripening. During storage, Norvegia® Vellagret develops a flavor that is more marked than the well-known taste of the original Norvegia®. The flavor comes out best if it is cut with a knife and combined with, for example, biscuits or freshly baked bread, and a delicious marmalade. Norvegia® Vellagret is also suitable as a flavor enhancer in both cold and hot dishes.

During storage, Norvegia® Ekstra Vellagret develops into an extra marked variant of the well-known taste of Norvegia®. The flavor comes out best if it is cut into generous slices and combined with, for example, honey and nuts, or with good cured meat on a tapas table. Norvegia® Ekstra Vellagret is also suitable as a flavor enhancer in both cold and hot dishes.

Norvegia® Organic cheese is made with organic milk from cows that only receive organically produced feed. This means that it is produced without the use of artificial fertilizers and pesticides. The cows get more pasture and hay at the expense of concentrate, and also get more exercise and fresh air. Norvegia® Organic is stored for about 3 months before it finds its way to your fridge. The taste is mild, slightly sour and aromatic, and the cheese has small holes. Norvegia® Ökologisk has good melting properties and a flexible consistency that makes it easy to slice, grate or cut into cubes. Norvegia® Organic is a flavor enhancer that adds a little something extra to both cold and hot dishes.
