When Sveinung became Prost (Dean), the cheese followed suit and the cheesemaker was very pleased to get the PR for his cheese. Whether Sveinung chooses to become a bishop or car mechanic next, we have promised that the cheese will follow in his footsteps as far as we can. The cheese is a matured cream cheese that is drained into drainage bags before being mixed with Havsn\u00f8 (salt) from North Sea Salt works. He is fond of cooking and very enthusiastic about cheese, and he likes to preach the good news about local cheese making and locally produced cheese.<\/p>\n<p>How about heating the whole cheese in the oven at 200 degrees for 4 minutes?
