Taste of UMAMI, and a wonderful aftertaste that lasts for a long time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong> Holtefjell has its origins in the French Alpine cheeses, but this one has a slightly firmer consistency. Recipe based on a Tomme which is a French Alpine cheese, but a bit firmer. Matures for 6-12 months and is suitable for all tapas dishes and as a flavour enhancer. Fantastic as a snack with a slightly sweet, sparkling white wine. Holtefjell Vellagret is the winner of Cheese of the Year 2020 in the competition \u2018Det Norske M\u00e5ltid\u2019. The jury\u2019s statement: \"The cheese has a nice balance of acidity, well-integrated saltiness and fine crystals after storage. The flavour is complex, but still characteristic of this type of cheese.
