The story of Grindal is about the sisters who did not want to move back home from the mountain farm after the summer. The good everyday routine on the farm was filled with cows and milking. When it was time to move home for the winter, the solution was clear; the sisters had to build themselves a dairy at home. The traditional Norwegian products would be continued the mountain farm, while the values from the mountain life were brought back home. Being close to the whole production, the freedom of being in control of the daily routine, and the joy of seeing how the milk can turn into so many different flavours.<\/p>\n

We have been fortunate to receive inspiration from many places, both in Norway and abroad. It has given us a taste for quality cheese and made us curious, so we always have to try something new. That is why Grindal produces cheese with elements from other parts of the world, cheeses that cheese lovers dream of!<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Foto:\n
