Det betyr at osteelskere fra alle verdens hj\u00f8rner var \u00e5 treffe i Trondheim den 26. -28. oktober. 4502 oster konkurrerte om tittelen Verdens beste ost 2023 under WCA i Trondheim Spektrum 27. oktober 2023, og Nidelven Bl\u00e5 fra Gangstad G\u00e5rdsysteri gikk av med seieren!<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tFakta om selve arrangementet\n\t<\/h2>\n\tF\u00f8rste gang WCA ble arrangert var i 1987.<br \/>\nEier av konkurransen World Cheese Awards er Guild of Fine Foods (gff.co.uk) som hvert \u00e5r samler om lag 4500 oster og 250 internasjonale osteeksperter for \u00e5 k\u00e5re verdens beste ost.\n<h2>\n\t\t\u00c5rets hovedarrang\u00f8r:\n\t<\/h2>\n\tHovedarrang\u00f8r for \u00e5rets arrangement er HANEN sammen med Norsk Gardsost og OI, Tr\u00f8ndersk Mat og Drikke.<br \/>\nF\u00f8rste gang World Cheese Awards\/Oste-VM ble arrangert I Norge var I Bergen 2018.<br \/>\nInitiativtaker ogs\u00e5 den gang, var HANEN.\n<h2>\n\t\tDommerpanelet\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Norge er godt representert med sine 80 dommere av totalt 260 fra 37 ulike land. \u00d8vrige dommere kommer fra blant annet Spania, Frankrike, \u00d8sterrike, Tyskland, Ukraina, Sverige, USA, Canada, Japan, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Brasil, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico og India.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tNorske vinner av WCA\n\t<\/h2>\n\tTingvollost var den f\u00f8rste norske produsenten i historien som vant World Cheese Awards. Det var i San Sebastian i 2016, med bl\u00e5muggosten Kraftkar.<br \/>\nOsteg\u00e5rden med Fanaost vant p\u00e5 hjemmebane under Oste-VM i Bergen. (En Gouda-lignende ost).<br \/>\nTil \u00e5rets konkurranse er 293 norske oster p\u00e5meldt fra 71 osteprodusenter\/ystere.\n<h2>\n\t\tSlik fungerer bed\u00f8mmingen\n\t<\/h2>\n\tSelve d\u00f8mmingen foreg\u00e5r i f\u00f8rste runde ved at alle oster plasseres p\u00e5 bord med 60 til 80 oster hver. Et dommerlag best\u00e5ende av to til tre dommere smaker seg deretter gjennom alle ostene p\u00e5 bordet for \u00e5 identifisere oster som de mener er verdige \u00abgull\u00bb, \u00abs\u00f8lv\u00bb eller \u00abbronse\u00bb- medalje.<br \/>\nOstene vurderes etter farge, tekstur, konsistens og fremfor alt &#8211; smak. I l\u00f8pet av den f\u00f8rste runden diskuterer dommerne seg fram til \u00e9n felles favoritt som \u00abvinner bordet\u00bb. Denne nomineres til semifinalen. Disse ostene f\u00e5r utmerkelsen \u00abSupergull\u00bb.\n<h2>\n\t\tSemi-finale og la grand finale\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Det som i utgangspunktet var 4500 oster, blir s\u00e5 redusert til om lag hundre \u00abSupergull\u00bb-oster. I semifinalen presenteres disse for \u00abSuper-juryen\u00bb:<\/p>\nFinaledommerne.<br \/>\nDette er et n\u00f8ye utvalgte dommerpanel best\u00e5ende av 16 internasjonale osteeksperter med lang erfaring. Norsk Gardsost must look after and promote the members&#039; common interests within quality and finance and otherwise represent the members vis-\u00e0-vis the governing authorities, other organizations and society in general. Norsk Gardsost will show how artisanal dairies are important for value creation and as carriers of tradition.
