Synnøve Finden makes Norwegian cheese from Norwegian milk at our dairies in Namsos and Alvdal. In recent years, we have also expanded our range. We will add new, good flavours and healthier products to the breakfast table. We make the best out of good Norwegian ingredients, and we bring home the best of what we find.

Den Sorte Gryte Ysteri

Our farm, Møllevollen Gård, is located by the fjord Vestfjorden. Our goats graze from the shoreline with salty seaweed to the mountains. The young goats are transported by boat to lush islands in Vestfjorden in June and graze there all summer until they are brought home in September.

Sæterstad Gård is located in scenic surroundings in the village of Varntresk in Hattfjelldal municipality in the far south of Nordland county. The farm is located 400 meters above sea level in the mountain forest belt, with good summer pastures for the animals.

Rueslåtten Ysteri is a small family-run dairy in Hol municipality. We have 14 cows grazing outdoors on a mountain farm all summer, and we only use raw milk from our own production.

Valmsnes Gård

Jonas and Julie and our two sons Sebastian and Ole Jakob live at Valmsnes Gård. We moved here in 2011. Both Jonas and Julie were born and raised in Oslo, so moving to a small place like Osen was a big step. We have never regretted that choice! We make cheese using raw milk from the farm's own cows.

The green mountains around the farm are an excellent grazing area for goats and hiking area for people. On the farm, we make organic goat's milk into tasty cheese. The farm also has production facilities for processing the cow’s and goat’s meat produced on the farm.

Avdem Gardsysteri

Avdem is located in the mountain village of Lesja – at the top of Gudbrandsdalen, 600 meters above sea level. The farm is among the oldest in the village, around 2000 years old. Since the late 1700s, the farm has been in the same family, and today's farmers are the eighth generation.

Kråkerøe-staulen og Flatdal meieri

Kråkeroe-staulen is located 900 meters above sea level at Møsstrond in the north of Seljord municipality. The mountain farm has a particularly nice location between the lakes Veisvik-vatnet and Kråkerøe-tjønni.
