It is matured in the southern European way to get an optimal balance of flavors and a round, aromatic sweetness. The cheese was awarded a bronze medal at the Cheese World Cup in 2018, the same year it was launched, and has also been honored with the Specialty Mark for unique taste from the Norwegian Food Foundation.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Namdalsgomme fremstilles ved oppkoking av løpefelt ostemasse og mysekonsentrat. Gommen har en halvfast, lett skjærbar konsistens, uten å være direkte smørbar. Namdalsgomme er litt grov, og ostekornene er merkbare.</p>
<p>Smaken er rund og søt, med tydelig kryddersmak av kardemomme og kanel. Namdalsgomme har en jevn, lys gulbrun farge med et lag av kanel på toppen. Rull rikelig med gomme inn i lefser, lomper og vafler og server til frokost, lunsj eller til kaffen. Lefse med gomme er god og næringsrik kost. Namdalsgomme er også godt som smørbrødpålegg. Namdalsgomme er glutenfri, og kan derfor spises av de som har glutenintoleranse.</p>
