Description: The blue cheese Snertingdal Jarl used to be the dairy's most important product and was also exported to the USA. We have used the old recipe and adapted it to modern palates. The traditional cheese now has a new, proud name: Blå Viking (Blue Viking). It has a mild and round taste of blue mould, and the crust is washed with a white mould culture. The texture of the cheese is different from other blue cheeses on the Norwegian market. The firmer texture means that it can be sliced with a cheese slicer.
