Description: Grated sæterparmesan is made from our Sæterost (mountain farm cheese) that has been matured for over 3 years. This gives the cheese a nice "Parmesan flavour" that is suitable for many things. Vellagret Sæterost (well-matured mountain farm cheese) got a place in the final, super gold in the World Cheese Awards in 2018 and is one of the world's best cheeses! Lagra Sæterost (matured mountain farm cheese) won bronze in its category the same year. We already have, among other things, 3 gold medals in the Norwegian Cheese Championships for our cheese that is made and matured here at the farm.
